Anadi loves to sing and to play his guitar. As a young boy and teenager he was a member of his local church’s choir where and he learned to play the guitar and piano. This was an important time in his life as he began the journey of connection, oneness and belonging to That greater than himself.
So music has been with him ever since and it plays an important role in the life of the Alexis Zorbas Center in Corfu, where he lives most of the year. In playful communion with his musician friends, he explores the powerful potential of devotional music to access the heart directly, which leads beyond personality straight into silent and peaceful beingness and bliss. And many singers come to be part of the peaceful and healing communion of the SINGING SANGHA.
Current project are:
SINGING FOR PEACE. Open concerts and singing events create a space of unconditional love and stillness of all hearts, finding relaxation and peacefulness.
BHAKTI. Bhakti means Devotion. This is a spiritual practice of turning your Self over to God through chanting, prayer and meditation, in concerts and chanting retreats.
The vision he held for a life in nature, harmony and communion with others eventually led to the creation of the ALEXIS ZORBAS Center in Corfu, Greece, which is his home and base since 1991. Over the years it became a meeting place of thousands of friends who come an seek relaxation and inspiration through meditation, yoga, chanting, satsang and selected seminars, all within of beautiful nature of Corfu.
Now, during open events and concerts, as well in singing groups at the Center in Corfu as well as in other locations, Anadi is sharing his love for music and his devotion to the Beloved again with other musicians and singers.
